Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy Statement
Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd strive to prevent bribery and corruption and uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability and professionalism in the conduct of our businesses.
We take a zero – tolerance approach to bribery and corruption. This is consistent with Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd’s core values of PROFESSIONALISM & RELATIONSHIP, ETHICS & TRUST, SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY and BELIVE IN EACH OTHER & TO BE BETTER – TOGETHER.
Perbena Emas is committed to:
- Complying with the provisions of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2009 (Act 694) and the applicable laws by inculcating integrity, transparency and accountability in all aspects of business;
- Prohibiting employees from soliciting, accepting and offering bribes and any form of corruption;
- Ensuring all employees and business associates adhere to this AntiBribery and Corruption Policy and the related procedures set out by the Anti-Bribery Management System, and making efforts to continually
improve the system; and - Promoting a culture of integrity by providing channels for reporting of any suspected acts of corruption and improper conducts in line with Perbena Emas Sdn Bhd’s Whistleblowing Policy.
The Anti-Bribery Compliance Function is responsible for monitoring compliance with the Anti-Bribery Management System and reporting to the Top Management.
All employees and business associates are expected to read, understand and adhere to this Policy. Non-compliance with and violation of this Policy by an employee or business associate may result in action taken by Perbena Emas in accordance with its policies, procedures, directives and guidelines and/or initiation of legal proceedings.
Health, Safety & Environmental Policy
PERBENA EMAS SDN. BHD. is committed to conduct its activities in the safest way possible to achieve ZERO HARM to our people and the environment through:
- Paying the greatest possible attention to the environmental protection and safety of our work, either at the pre-work phase or during execution phases by complying with our client and all applicable statutory & regulatory requirements prescribed.
- Prevention of pollution and ensuring good occupational health & safety of our employees to prevent injury and ill-health.
- Promotion of HSE awareness program to employees, contractors and stakeholders through induction and education.
- Involving workers or workers’ representatives in the Management system through consultation and participation.
- Implementation of an integrated system of HSE and its continual improvement
